(ECNS) -- Russia's Federal Agency for Air Transport confirmed on Wednesday that Wagner Group private military leader Yevgeny Prigozhin was killed in a plane crash in the Tver Region near Moscow, capital of Russia.
Prigozhin was among the 10 people killed in the crash.
U.S. President Joe Biden has been briefed on the accident.
When asked about the crash, Biden said "I don't know for a fact what happened but I'm not surprised," U.S. media reported.
